Avin has been working in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for over a decade. Between his clinics in Oakham, Thurmaston, Uppingham and Wigston, he treats over 100 patients a week.
We offer emergency evening and weekend appointments for urgent cases. Although you do not need a referral to see an osteopath, some patients are referred to us through local medical practitioners. However, most hear about us through word of mouth.
Whilst training at university, Avin participated in three special study modules:
Avin’s typical treatment involves a combination of osteopathy and medical acupuncture (unless needle-phobic!). Treatment is informed by his specialist training in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation. Prevention of problems whilst addressing existing complaints is the key to his treatment plan. After over 15 years of clinical experience he has a very simple and traditional approach whilst treating his patients “Find it, Fix it, Leave it”.
Since his daughter was born six years ago, Avin started treating babies using Cranial Osteopathy. He is now the leading Cranial Osteopath in the area, seeing an average of 30 newborns a week. No baby is too young- the youngest Avin has treated was two days old. Parents may bring their babies into clinic for a routine cranial assessment, or for complications from birth.
